Portrait sitting

I've been working on a project portrait painting of Ellie. She is a wildlife conservationist and has been involved in preserving the Cornish Chough which she will be holding in the painting.
On our visit to Lanhydrock house we discovered 2 Choughs in a glass case. It was great to see them close up and judge their proportions and size. Ellie and I have enjoyed the sittings which she has fitted around her work.
